摘要
已演示了将正μ子从热能加速至 100 keV。通过共振多光子电离发射的μ中子原子(muonium)产生热μ子。随后,这些热μ子首先被电stonically 加速至 5.7 keV,然后通过射频四极形 Quadrupole 进行进一步加速至 100 keV。加速后μ子在水平面和垂直面上的归一化横向发散度分别为 mmmrad 和 mmmrad。测得的发散度值表明相空间缩小了 (水平)和 (垂直)倍,从而实现了良好的加速效率。这些结果为实现用于粒子物理、材料科学等领域的首个μ子加速器铺平了道路。
