我们结合 Sunyaev-Zel'dovich 效应、X 射线观测和成员星系的光谱红移，约束了星系团 Abell 370 的固有三维形状。结果显示，该星系团沿视线方向 (l.o.s.) 高度拉伸，包含两个或更多正在发生合并的亚结构。光谱学进一步表明，合并过程相对于视线方向发生的角度较小。
