简单与复杂语句及语句序列中语用推理的统一处理

摘要
进行适当的可废止推理(defeasible inferences)已被证明是自然语言处理中最普遍的难题之一，也是语用学中的一个反复出现的问题。本文提供了一个称为“分层逻辑(stratified logic)”的理论框架，能够容纳可废止的语用推理。该框架产生了一个算法，用于计算会话含义(conversational implicatures)、惯例含义(conventional implicatures)、标量含义(scalar implicatures)、分句含义(clausal implicatures)和常态含义(normal state implicatures)；以及与语句相关联的预设(presuppositions)。该算法同样适用于简单与复杂语句(simple and complex utterances)以及语句序列(sequences of utterances)。
