处于相同红移 z = 0.54 的两起 GRB 超新星的故事

摘要

我们报告了红移均为 z = 0.54 的长伽马射线暴(GRBs)060729和090618的光学暂现源(OTs)的地面及HST光学观测结果。对于GRB 060729,其光学光变曲线(LCs)中出现了凸起,且OT的晚期宽带光谱能量分布(SEDs)与本地Ic型超新星相似。对于GRB 090618,我们对光学观测的密集采样使我们能够检测到光学LCs中清晰的凸起以及颜色的变化,这些均表明光来自核坍缩SN。这两起事件伴生的SN分别与已知的GRB超新星SN1998bw以及无已知GRB对应体的典型Ic型超新星SN1994I进行了单独比较,在这两种情况下,其亮度和时间演化都更接近SN1998bw。我们还利用了GRB 090618的大量光学和射电数据以及公开的SWIFT-XRT数据,讨论了早期余辉的性质。在简单的喷流状模型框架下,GRB 090618的余辉最好由在 t-to > 0.5 天存在喷流拐折来解释。然后,我们将所有GRB和X射线闪(XRF)伴生SN的静止系峰值V波段绝对星等与大样本的本地Ibc型SN进行了比较,得出结论:当考虑宿主星系消光时,GRB/XRF-SN的峰值星等与非GRB/XRF SN的峰值星等无法区分。
