摘要
广域红外巡天探测器揭示了一颗 T8.5 型褐矮星（WISE J111838.70+312537.9），其与太阳邻域（8 pc）的四合星系统——大熊座 Xi 表现出自行共同。其角分离为 8.5 角分，投影物理分离约为 4000 AU。大熊座 Xi A 的亚太阳金属丰度和低色球活动表明该系统年龄至少为 2 Gyr。该褐矮星的红外光度和颜色表明，对于分别为 2 Gyr 和 8 Gyr 的系统年龄，该伴星的质量范围在 14 到 38 个木星质量之间。
