在过去几年中，人们多次尝试将波荡器的周期长度减小到毫米范围。本文描述了一种新型的真空中波荡器，它由超导导线制成。该特殊装置的周期长度为 3.8 mm。原则上，这一周期长度还可能进一步减小。我们已建造了一台 100 个周期的波荡器，并将在不久的将来进行束流测试。
