B0 --> J/psi pi0 衰变中时间依赖 CP 不对称性的研究

摘要
我们首次展示了利用 1999 年至 2002 年间在 SLAC 的 PEP-II 非对称能量 B 工厂的 Y(4S) 共振态上，由 BABAR 探测器收集的 e+e- 湮灭数据对 B0 --> J/psi pi0 衰变中时间依赖的 CP 破坏不对称性的研究。利用约 8800 万对 B Bbar，我们对 CP 不对称性的余弦和正弦项系数的初步结果为 C_{J/psi pi0} = 0.38 +/- 0.41 (统计) +/- 0.09 (系统) 和 S_{J/psi pi0} = 0.05 +/- 0.49 (统计) +/- 0.16 (系统)。
