AMoRE实验中$^{40}$Ca无中微子双电子俘获的研究

摘要

无中微子双电子俘获(0ν2EC0\nu\mathrm{2EC})的搜寻为轻子数破坏和中微子的马约拉纳性质提供了灵敏的探针。我们利用AMoRE-I实验中配备金属磁量热器的低温探测器,研究了40^{40}Ca的0ν2EC0\nu\mathrm{2EC}衰变。该分析基于来自十三个40^{40}Ca100^{100}MoO4_4晶体的总曝光量为7.32 kg\cdotyr的物理数据集。未观察到显著超出,半衰期的下限在90%\%置信水平下为T1/20ν>1.7×1022T^{0\nu}_{1/2} > 1.7 \times 10^{22} yr。预计即将进行的AMoRE-II实验将获得更高的灵敏度。这些结果展示了CaMoO4_4探测器在主要100^{100}Mo 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta搜寻计划之外探索稀有衰变过程的潜力。
