PAMELA实验中正电子识别的统计方法

摘要

PAMELA卫星实验测量了1.5 GeV至100 GeV之间的宇宙射线正电子分数。为可靠区分正电子信号与质子本底,需要开发一种专门的分析程序。本文描述了一种正电子识别方法,并展示了其稳定性以及给出正确本底估计的能力。分析包括新的实验数据、对本底样本应用三种不同的拟合技术,以及由于本底选择可能不准确而导致的系统不确定性的估计。新的实验结果既证实了太阳调制对低刚度宇宙射线的影响,也证实了10 GeV以上异常正电子丰度的存在。
