我们报告了利用斯皮策空间望远镜上的红外摄谱仪对凌星系外巨行星HD 189733b在7.5-14.7微米波段光谱的测量结果。尽管观测仅使用了12小时的望远镜时间，但连续谱被很好地测量，其流量在波长范围内从0.6毫央斯基变化到1.8毫央斯基，即母星流量的0.49% ± 0.02%。测得的相对流量变化在整个波长范围内几乎平坦，没有显示出水或甲烷显著吸收的迹象，这与大多数大气模型的预测相反。数据似乎不支持具有强昼夜差异的模型，这表明热量向行星夜面的再分配效率极高。
