我们回顾了最近的研究，表明大质量恒星形成中的辐射压问题可以通过热辐射场的各向异性来规避。这种各向异性自然伴随着星周盘的形成而建立。盘内所需的角动量传输可以通过发展引力扭矩来提供。空腔区域中的辐射瑞利-泰勒不稳定性——如先前文献中所建议的——并非必需，并且被证明在大质量恒星形成的背景下不会发生。
