51 Pegasi 与 Tau Bootis 线形深度变化搜索

摘要
对 51 Pegasi 和 tau Bootis 的光谱观测显示，其线轮廓的形状没有周期性变化；对于 51 Peg，结果与 Gray 和 Hatzes (1997) 所报告结果有显著冲突。我们的检测极限足够小，能够排除 tau Boo 中非径向脉动作为变异原因的可能性，但在 51 Peg 上不行。线形轮廓变化的 absence 与这些星体的径向速度变异源自行星质量伴侣相符。
