利用 MAGIC 望远镜在三角座 II 中搜寻暗物质

摘要
我们展示了利用 MAGIC 望远镜对矮椭球卫星候选体三角座 II(Triangulum II)甚高能观测的首批结果,所用为 2016 年 8 月至 2017 年 8 月间获取的 62.4 小时高质量数据。我们在三角座 II 方向上未发现伽马射线超出,并给出了微分与积分伽马射线流强的上限。当前,三角座 II 的运动学受较大不确定性影响,导致其暗物质晕属性测定存在偏差。利用已知矮椭球星系湮灭 J 因子与日心距之间的标度关系,我们估算了三角座 II 对 WIMP 暗物质的湮灭 J 因子为 GeV cm。我们还依据银河系尺寸暗物质晕高分辨模拟的结果推导了该天体的暗物质密度轮廓。我们得到了 WIMP 湮灭至各标准模型通道的热平均湮灭截面的 95% 置信水平上限。最严格的限制来自 末态,其中湮灭截面低至 cm s 被排除。
