在白矮星周围碎屑盘内运行的星子

摘要

许多白矮星显示出吸积较小天体的迹象,意味着它们可能拥有行星系统。其中少数系统含有气态碎屑盘,可通过发射线观测到。我们报告了源自白矮星 SDSSJ122859.93+104032.9 周围碎屑盘的 CaII 发射线轮廓强度与形状存在稳定的 123.4 分钟周期变化。我们将这一短周期信号解释为由其内禀强度维系在一起的固体天体的特征。
