中等年龄疏散星团 King 5 的光度学研究

摘要
我们报告了对以研究较少的疏散星团 King 5 为中心的 8′ × 8′ 区域的近红外（J 和 K 波段）观测，此前仅有光学测光数据。我们发现该星团年龄适中（10 亿年），介于毕星团和 NGC 752 之间。结合光学和红外测光，我们获得了星团参数的估计值。色余 E(J-K)、E(V-I) 和 E(V-K) 分别为 0.50、1.10 和 2.45。真实距离模数为 (m-M)_0 = 11.40±0.15。因此，King 5 距离太阳 1.9 千秒差距。
