位于扩张超新星遗骸中的持续活跃快闪频射源

摘要

快闪频射(FRB)是最令人困惑的天体物理现象之一。虽然大多数FRB仅被检测一次或不规则地检测,但我们报告了FRB 20190520B被识别为持续活跃源,持续约四年。这一罕见的长期活跃使我们能够详细调查其位移测量(DM)演化。我们还报告称FRB 20190520B显示出显著的DM下降,全球速率为-12.4±0.3 pc cm^-3 yr^-1,超过前一FRB DM变动测量的三倍,超过脉冲星观测到的水平数个数量级。DM演化的幅度和一致性,以及高主机DM贡献,强烈表明该源位于密集的、不断膨胀的电离介质中,可能是一颗年轻的超新星遗骸(SNR)。
