摘要
测量超出标准模型的理论所预言的高电离粒子的能量损失和质量，对传统探测技术构成了相当大的挑战。据预测，此类粒子在穿过物质时经历的能量损失会超出大多数读出芯片规定的动态范围，导致探测器电子学饱和。因此，实现精确的能量损失和质量测量变得无法达成。我们提出了一种使用时间投影室探测此类高电离粒子的新方法，克服了这一限制，并提供了一个触发磁单极子的案例研究。
