南银极附近的一条新冷流

摘要
我们报告在 早期数据发布 3 中探测到一条位于南银极附近的冷流（命名为 SGP-S）。该流的海量心距离为 9.5 kpc，在天球上横跨近 58 × 0.6。SGP-S 的颜色-星等图表明其为一个年老且贫金属的恒星族（年龄 12 Gyr，[M/H] -2.0 dex）。该流的面亮度达到极低水平 36.2 mag arcsec。现存的球状星团及其他已知星流均与 SGP-S 无关联。
