我们呈现 NGC 4264 的表面测光与恒星运动学,该星系是位于室女座星系团区域、正与其邻近星系 NGC 4261 发生潮汐相互作用的透镜状星系。我们从 SDSS 成像测得棒半径与棒强度,并从 MUSE 积分视场光谱测得棒图样速度。我们发现 NGC 4264 拥有一个强且大的棒,其旋转很快。对棒旋转率的精确测量使我们排除该棒的形成由正在进行的交互触发的可能性。
