摘要

设计并建造了一台新的多丝正比室（MWPC），用于中子β衰变角关联的精密研究。其设计具有若干新颖特征，包括使用低压新戊烷作为 MWPC 气体，以及由凯夫拉纤维增强的薄 Mylar 膜制成的入射窗。在初始离线条件测试中，研究了新戊烷的气体增益与位置分辨率。
