理解小系统中喷注与高 p_T 探针的修正需要软物理与硬物理的整合。我们介绍近期在扩展 JETSCAPE 框架以构建事件生成器方面的进展,该生成器包含软部分子与硬部分子之间的关联,用于研究小系统中的喷注可观测量。碰撞的多尺度物理被划分为不同阶段。硬散射首先由 Glauber 几何提供的二体碰撞位置处抽样得到。随后它们沿初态簇射在时空上向后传播,以获得碰撞前发起部分子的能量与动量。这些能量与动量随后从入射碰撞核子中扣除,用于软粒子产生,由 3D-Glauber + 流体力学 + 强子输运框架建模。这一新的混合方法(X-SCAPE)包含了小系统中喷注与软粒子产生之间的非平庸关联。我们用 p-p 碰撞中从低到高 p_T 的末态强子 p_T 谱标定该框架,再与 LHC 上 p-Pb 碰撞的谱进行比较。我们还给出了附加可观测量的结果,例如在前向与中快度下最硬喷注 p_T 的事件活动性分布,针对 p-p 与 p-Pb 碰撞两者。
