双-双射电星系的多频研究

摘要
活动星系核中周期性活动的显著例证之一是双-双射电星系,它们具有来自两个不同活动周期的两对方向相反的射电瓣。我们以DDRG J1453+3308为例说明,利用GMRT和VLA在宽频率范围内的观测,可以确定内外射电瓣的频谱,估算其频谱年龄,估算周期性活动的时间尺度,并检查两个活动周期中注入谱的任何差异。低频GMRT观测还表明,双-双射电星系和三-双射电星系相当罕见。
