摘要

在使用标准层级算法进行频繁模式挖掘的语境中，以下问题出现：给定当前层级和当前的频繁模式集合，下一层级可以生成的候选模式数的上限是多少？我们通过提供源自1960年代克鲁斯卡尔(Kruskal)和卡托纳(Katona)的组合结果，给出了该问题的紧上界。我们的结果有助于减少数据库扫描次数。
