摘要
我们展示了首个大样本光学认证化石星系群的钱德拉快照观测结果。在14个候选群中，有9个我们能够测定其X射线光度和温度，其范围涵盖了从大型椭圆星系到富星系群的典型区间。我们结合星系群星系际介质和中心星系星际介质的演化讨论了这些初步结果，并描述了深度X射线后续观测计划的方案。
