厚盘化学丰度分布的测定：对星系演化的启示

摘要
我们基于F/G型星的原位样本，给出了厚盘铁丰度分布的测定结果。这些恒星较暗，，根据颜色选取，是Gilmore和Wyse为确定距太阳数kpc处恒星种群性质而进行的大规模巡天的一个子集。本文研究的区域探测了在太阳银心距处、银道面以上500-3000pc范围内银河系恒星种群的铁丰度分布。
