椭圆星系中的尘埃：一种新的尘埃质量

摘要
为了探讨椭圆星系尘埃的性质和来源，本文提出并讨论了一种考虑尘埃温度分布的尘埃质量评估方法。推导出的尘埃质量为之前使用单温度近似法获得的质量的2-6倍。还发现了远红外与蓝色 luminosity 之间的相关性。结果在尘埃“质量不符”以及可能的演化情景（蒸发流和/或冷却流）的术语中进行了讨论。虽然当前数据无法在这两种情景之间做出区分，但可以想象，根据单个对象的历史，椭圆星系中的尘埃可以通过不同机制的贡献来吸积。
