HST/NICMOS 对类 I 原星 TMR-1 (IRAS04361+2547) 的图像揭示了一个与之相隔 10.0" = 1400 AU 投影距离的微弱伴星。该中心原星本身被分辨为一个与之相隔 0.31" = 42 AU 的近距离双星，周围环绕着星际反射 nebulosity。一条细长的细 filament 似乎连接着原双星与微弱伴星 TMR-1C，暗示着物理关联。如果这些源物理上相关，则我们假设 TMR-1C 可能是被原双星的喷流所击中。若 TMR-1C 与原双星具有相同的年龄和距离，则当前模型表明其光度与几个质量为 墨子星的年轻巨行星相符。
