摘要
我们已确定硝基甲烷 (CHNO) 是一种用于负离子时间投影室 (NITPC) 的有效电子捕获剂。我们展示了使用硝基甲烷作为捕获剂的负离子气体混合物的漂移速度和纵向扩散测量结果。硝基甲烷不仅比唯一已识别的另一种捕获剂 CS 更良性得多，而且其低原子序数将使得 NITPC 能够用作 1-10 keV 波段的光电 X 射线偏振计。
