Hydra I 星系团核心的三维视图 - II. 恒星种群

摘要
对 Hydra I 星系团中心区域的多次观测指向一个多历元组装历史。利用我们新颖的 FORS2/VLT 光谱数据集，我们绘制了 cD 星系 NGC 3311 周围恒星种群的亮度加权年龄、[Fe/H] 和 [/Fe] 分布图。我们的结果表明，恒星种群遵循光度学子结构的趋势，具有独特的性质，这可能有助于约束星系团核心形成的演化情景。
