围绕 PKS 1343-601 的 2×2 度 I 带调查

摘要
受高度遮蔽 (A_B = 12 mag) 射电星系 PKS 1343-601 位于 (l,b,cz) = (309.7, +1.8, 3872km/s) 处，可能构成大猎人区域重度遮蔽簇的中心的可能性激发，我们在 I 波段使用位于拉斯丽拉的 ESO 2.2m 望远镜上的 WFI 对该前景簇的核心区域约 2×2 度进行成像。我们成功识别出 49 颗星系和 6 颗不确定的星系候选对象。尽管其分布不像集中且质量巨大的簇那样，但其外观——严重受到我们调查区域跨越的强烈尘埃梯度的影响——完全符合簇的特征。
