摘要
为了进行真实的地球发电机模拟，必须求解磁流体动力学方程，以跟踪旋转球壳中导电流体热对流运动的时间演化。我们通过将有限差分法与最近提出的称为阴阳网格的球面重叠网格相结合，开发了一种新的地球发电机模拟代码。我们在地球模拟器的4096个处理器上实现了15.2 TFlops的性能（占理论峰值性能的46%）。
