低质量红巨星核心氦闪的三维数值实验

摘要
我们使用Djehuty——一个全三维(3D)代码——对低质量红巨星中的核心氦闪进行了建模。3D结构是由一颗1恒星的1D演化计算中获得的收敛模型生成的。无论我们采用哪个起始点,我们都发现,经过一段瞬态弛豫后,3D模型稳定在一个快速对流的氦燃烧壳层中,这与1D模型的预测没有太大差异。
