超新星分类与子类

摘要
许多具有史无前例且惊人观测特征的天体的发现，使得过去十年成为超新星研究最多产的时期。这些新超新星中有许多是现有类别之间的过渡天体，另一些则很好地归入已定义的类别，但仍显示出独特的性质。这使得传统的分类方案不足以涵盖超新星（SN）的总体多样性，因此需要引入新的子类。
