On the sequence $\alpha n!$

Abstract

We prove that there exists αR\alpha \in \mathbb{R} such that for any NN the dicrepancy DND_N of the sequence {αn!},1nN\{\alpha n !\} ,\, 1\le n \le N satisfies DN=O(logN) D_N = O(\log N).
