Abstract

Given a convex domain CC, a CC-polygon is an intersection of n2n\geq 2 homothets of CC. If the homothets are translates of CC then we call the intersection a translative CC-polygon. This paper proves that if CC is a strictly convex domain with mm singular boundary points, then the number of singular boundary points a CC-polygon has is between nn and 2(n1)+m2(n-1)+m. For a translative CC-polygon we show the number of singular boundary points is between nn and n+mn+m.
