The Sunflower Conjecture Proven

Combinatorics 2026-04-29 v2

Abstract

We demonstrate the truth of the sunflower conjecture by showing that a family F\mathcal{F} of sets each of cardinality at most mm includes a kk-sunflower, if F>(ck)2m|\mathcal{F}| > ( c k )^{2m} for a constant c>0c>0 independent of mm and kk, where kk-sunflower means a family of kk different sets with a common pairwise intersection.
