Spanning trees in graphs without large bipartite holes

Combinatorics 2023-02-09 v1

Abstract

We show that for any ε>0\varepsilon>0 and ΔN\Delta\in\mathbb{N}, there exists α>0\alpha>0 such that for sufficiently large nn, every nn-vertex graph GG satisfying that δ(G)εn\delta(G)\geq\varepsilon n and e(X,Y)>0e(X, Y)>0 for every pair of disjoint vertex sets X,YV(G)X, Y\subseteq V(G) of size αn\alpha n contains all spanning trees with maximum degree at most Δ\Delta. This strengthens a result of B\"ottcher et al.
