Abstract
Let %, has finitely many discontinuity points and is real-analytic on the intervals between these points. The set of such functions is denoted by Only the following property of is used: if , then the function changes sign on the interval at most finitely many times. Suppose that where is an arbitrary fixed function, and solves the problem If implies , then the pair is said to have property on the set . This property is proved for the pair . Applications to some inverse problems for a heat equation are given. the set . This property is proved for the pair
