Low-degree spanning trees of $2$-edge-connected graphs in linear time

Abstract

We present a simple linear-time algorithm that finds a spanning tree TT of a given 22-edge-connected graph GG such that each vertex vv of TT has degree at most degG(v)2+1\lceil \frac{\deg_G(v)}{2}\rceil + 1.
