Hamilton path decompositions of complete multipartite graphs

Abstract

We prove that a complete multipartite graph KK with n>1n>1 vertices and mm edges can be decomposed into edge-disjoint Hamilton paths if and only if mn1\frac m{n-1} is an integer and the maximum degree of KK is at most 2mn1\frac {2m}{n-1}.
