Abstract
Let be a non-compact two-dimensional manifold and be a one-dimensional foliation of such that consists of leaves of and each leaf of is a non-compact closed subset of . We obtain a characterization of a subclass of such foliated surfaces glued from open strips with boundary leaves along some of their boundary intervals.
