This paper gives a new application of so-called connected sums, introduced recently by Seki and Yamamoto. Special about our approach is that it proves a duality for the Schlesinger-Zudilin and the Bradley-Zhao model of qMZVs simultaneously.…
A discrete duality is a relationship between classes of algebras and classes of relational systems (frames) resulting in two representation theorems building on the early work of J\'onsson and Tarski, Kripke, and van Benthem. In this…
We confirm a conjecture about the construction of basis elements for the multiple zeta values (MZVs) at weight 27 and weight 28. Both show as expected one element that is twofold extended. This is done with some lengthy computer algebra…
Let s_1,...,s_d be d positive integers and consider the multiple Hurwitz-zeta value zeta(s_1,...,s_d;-1/2,...,-1/2)/2^w where w=s_1+...+s_d is called the weight. For d<n+1, let T(2n,d) be the sum of all these values with even arguments…
In this article, we consider the set of points for the holding of the equality in a weighted version of Suita conjecture for higher derivatives, and give relations between the set and the integer valued points of a class of harmonic…
Kaneko and Tsumura introduced a new kind of multiple zeta functions $\eta(k_1,\ldots,k_r;s_1,\ldots,s_r)$. This is an analytic function of complex variables $s_1,\ldots,s_r$, while $k_1,\ldots,k_r$ are non-positive integer parameters. In…
We give three identities involving multiple zeta values of height one and of maximal height; an explicit formula for the height-one multiple zeta values, a regularized sum formula, and a sum formula for the multiple zeta values of maximal…
In this paper, we construct generating functions of alternating sums for the Arakawa-Kaneko zeta values. From the expressions, we show alternating sum formulas for them. Based on these results, we apply the same method to other zeta values.
Ohno's relation gives a large family of relations of the multiple zeta values. We shall show functional relations of generating functions of Ohno's relation. With these relations we present a new proof of Ohno's relation.
Inspired by a recent work of M. Nakasuji, O. Phuksuwan and Y. Yamasaki we combine interpolated multiple zeta values and Schur multiple zeta values into one object, which we call interpolated Schur multiple zeta values. Our main result will…
We prove an easy but interesting result about the linear independence of multiple zeta values of different weights.
The theory of finite automata applies to the study on relations of multiple zeta values.
A mixed type dual to a nondifferentiable variational problem involving higher order derivative is formulated and duality results are proved under generalized invexity conditions. Special cases are generated from our results.
In this paper, we establish some new identities of integrals involving multiple polylogarithm functions and their level two analogues in terms of Hurwitz-type multiple zeta (star) values. Using these identities, we provide new proofs of the…
Let $l\ge 1$ be an integer. For any multiple index $\mathbf{s}=(s_1,s_2,\cdots,s_l)\in\mathbb{Z}_{\geq 1}^l$ with $s_l>1$, the multiple zeta value (MZV for short) is defined by \begin{align*} \zeta(s_1,s_2,\cdots,s_l):=\sum_{1\leq…
In this paper we consider iterated integrals on $\mathbb{P}^{1}\setminus\{0,1,\infty,z\}$ and define a class of $\mathbb{Q}$-linear relations among them, which arises from the differential structure of the iterated integrals with respect to…
We establish finite analogues of the identities known as the Aoki-Ohno relation and the Le-Murakami relation in the theory of multiple zeta values. We use an explicit form of a generating series given by Aoki and Ohno.
In this paper, we investigate linear relations among regularized motivic iterated integrals on $\mathbb{P}^{1}\setminus\{0,1,\infty\}$ of depth two, which we call regularized motivic double zeta values. Some mysterious connections between…
In this paper we shall define a special-valued multiple Hurwitz zeta functions, namely the multiple $t$-values $t(\boldsymbol{\alpha})$ and define similarly the multiple star $t$-values as $t^{\star}(\boldsymbol{\alpha})$. Then we consider…
We examine values of certain Tornheim's type of double series with odd weight. As a result, an affirmative answer to a conjecture about the parity theorem for the zeta function of the root system of the exceptional Lie algebra $G_2$,…
