We prove that if a proper metric space is quasi-isometric to a finitely generated group and to a space with a horoball over a finitely generated group, then that space is quasi-isometric to a rank-one symmetric space or the real line.

We prove existence of thick geodesic triangulations of hyperbolic 3-manifolds and use this to prove existence of universal bounds on the principal curvatures of surfaces embedded in hyperbolic 3-manifolds.

We prove a genuine analogue of Wiener Tauberian theorem for hypergeometric transforms. As an application we prove analogue of Furstenberg theorem on Harmonic functions.

We review and comment on some works of Euler and his followers on spherical geometry. We start by presenting some memoirs of Euler on spherical trigonometry. We comment on Euler's use of the methods of the calculus of variations in…

We show the existence of group-theoretic sections of certain geometrically pro-nilpotent by abelian arithmetic fundamental groups of hyperbolic curves over p-adic local fields which are non-geometric, i.e., which do not arise from rational…

We prove that any continuous vector field on a circle is the extension in a suitable sense, of a unique infinitesimal earthquake of the hyperbolic plane. Furthermore, we obtain other extension results when the vector field is assumed only…

We discuss some properties of linear functionals on topological hyperbolic and topological bicomplex modules. The hyperbolic and bicomplex analogues of the uniform boundedness principle, the open mapping theorem, the closed graph theorem…

It is well-known that the $L^2$ metric on the moduli space of hyperbolic monopoles, defined using the Coulomb gauge-fixing condition, diverges. This article shows that an alternative gauge-fixing condition inspired by supersymmetry cures…

It is shown that in dimension at least three a local diffeomorphism of Euclidean n-space into itself is injective provided that the pull-back of every plane is a Riemannian submanifold which is conformal to a plane. Using a similar…
