Tricritical Behavior of Two-Dimensional Scalar Field Theories

Abstract
We compute by Monte Carlo numerical simulations the critical exponents of two-dimensional scalar field theories at the tricritical point. The results are in agreement with the Zamolodchikov conjecture based on conformal invariance.
