Tor algebra of local rings with decomposable maximal ideal

Abstract

Let (R,mR)(R,{\frak{m}}_R) be a commutative noetherian local ring. Assuming that mR={\frak{m}}_R=IJI\oplus J is a direct sum decomposition, where II and JJ are non-zero ideals of RR, we describe the structure of the Tor algebra of RR in terms of the Tor algebras of the rings R/IR/I and R/JR/J.
