Coartinianess of extension and torsion functors

Abstract

Let (R,m)(R,\mathfrak{m}) be a commutative noetherian local ring with m\mathfrak{m}-adic topology, II an ideal of RR. We investigate coartinianess of Ext\mathrm{Ext} and Tor\mathrm{Tor}, show that the RR-module ExtRi(N,M)\mathrm{Ext}_{R}^{i}(N,M) is II-coartinian if MM is a linearly compact II-coartinian RR-module and NN is an II-cofinite RR-module of dimension at most 11; the RR-module ToriR(N,M)\mathrm{Tor}_{i}^{R}(N,M) is II-coartinian in the case MM is semi-discrete linearly compact II-coartinian and NN is finitely generated with dimension at most 22.
