The Minor Crossing Number of Graphs with an Excluded Minor

Combinatorics 2008-09-09 v2

Abstract

The "minor crossing number" of a graph GG is the minimum crossing number of a graph that contains GG as a minor. It is proved that for every graph HH there is a constant cc, such that every graph GG with no HH-minor has minor crossing number at most cV(G)c|V(G)|.
