Sum-Rule Results on Exclusive Decays of Heavy Mesons

Abstract

We review QCD sum rule applications to hadronic matrix elements of exclusive BB and DD decays. Results are presented for the form factors f+f^+ and F0F_0 of BπB \rightarrow \pi and DπD\rightarrow \pi transitions. The predictions are used to compute the width of DDπD^* \rightarrow D \pi, and to extract the CKM parameter VubV_{ub} from the measured BπeνB \rightarrow \pi e \nu width. Furthermore, we comment on weak annihilation in BργB \rightarrow \rho \gamma, as well as on the radiative decays DργD \rightarrow \rho \gamma, DKγD \rightarrow K^* \gamma, and BμνγB \rightarrow \mu \nu \gamma.
