Abstract

Let XX be a projective manifold of dimension nn and LL a strictly nef line bundle on XX. Then KX+tLK_X+tL is ample if t>n+1t > n+1 in the following cases. 1.) dimX=3\text{dim} X = 3 unless (possibly) XX is a Calabi-Yau with c2L=0c_2 \cdot L=0; 2.) κ(X)n2\kappa(X) \ge n-2; 3.) dimα(X)n2\text{dim} \alpha(X) \ge n-2, with α:XA\alpha: X \to A the Albanese map.
