Some Optimizations for (Maximal) Multipliers in $L^p$

Classical Analysis and ODEs 2014-02-11 v1

Abstract

We use Oberlin, Nazarov, and Thiele's Multi-Frequency Calder\'{o}n-Zygmund decomposition to lower estimates on maximal multipliers in LpL^p. We also improve on classical multiplier results of Coifman, Rubio de Francia, and Semmes.
